Trident United Way’s Day of Caring is Back!

Save the Date for

Friday November 18th or Saturday November 19th*

Projects will be held both on campus and off. On campus projects include:

  • Painting of House 1 (Removing all furniture, patching, scraping, sanding, painting)
  • Painting of House 2 – Group Home (patching, scraping, sanding, painting)
  • Landscaping in front of House 2 – Group Home (weeding, edging, planting flowers and shrubs, mulching)

Off campus projects include:

  • Compiling cleaning buckets to be distributed to our families (buckets should include mops, soap, disinfecting wipes, Lysol, sponges, scrubbers, dusters, brooms etc.)
  • Compiling food baskets for our families for the holidays (baskets should include non-perishable food items and or coupons for turkeys or hams available at local grocery stores)
  • Hosting a toy drive ( we need lots of toys, clothes, puzzles, games, books, gift cards etc. to disburse to our families and children seen at our out-patient clinic for the holidays! Items should be for both boys and girls from infant to 18)
  • Baby Brigade Drive – We have so many families in our clinic who  need baby supplies. We would love for a group to take on making baby bags for newborns, 3-6 mos, 6-9 mos and 9 mos- a year. (items can be everything needed for babies but specifically diapers, clothing, bottles, pacifiers, toys, baby gates, baby proofing items like outlet covers, and books)
*Saturday November 19th will be used to complete any work left over from Friday November 18th so projects may vary slightly.
