Windwood Farm
has something wonderful to smile about!
25 Years of Restoring Hope to Children!
During 2010, Windwood Farm will celebrate it's 25th (Silver) Anniversary. (CLICK HERE to learn more about ways to be part of this celebration.) Since 1985 Windwood has provided therapeutic residential services to hundreds of abused, neglected children. That statement doesn't begin to convey what our healing programs have meant to children who never lived in a setting where chaos, violence, and drug abuse were not a daily occurence . . . that is, until they came to Windwood Farm.
Windwood has been a safe haven for abused, hurting children without a reason to smile. There, they gain the confidence to stand tall, break out into joyous laughter, and recapture a glimpse of a childhood denied to them for far too long.
During this anniversary year, Windwood Farm is embarking on a new community-based venture to provide a wide range of out-patient services for boys and girls ages 2-16 and their families. (Click preceding to see a list of services.) These services have been carefully designed by our experienced staff to meet four key goals:
1. To optimize children's emotional and behavioral well-being,
2. To reduce delinquency,
4. To heal and strengthen family relationships, and
5. To decrease the number of children entering state custody, intervening in difficult situations to help families stay together.

5. To decrease the number of children entering state custody, intervening in difficult situations to help families stay together.
These are ambitious goals, but Windwood Farm has a proven history of success in accomplishing these crucial outcomes with troubled children.New out-patient services, combined with our residential programs, will enable us to help more children than ever before in our 25-year history!
As we begin our Silver Anniversary Celebration, we are intensifying efforts to raise awareness about child abuse. We are also enlisting community support to help us restore hope and bring healing to the lives of children and families threatened and damaged by the devastating effects of abuse.
In honor of our Silver Anniversary in 2010, we have minted silver-colored ornaments commemorating 25-years of restoring hope to the lives of children. When you make a gift of $100 or more, we'll send you a beautiful commemorative ornament to express our appreciation for your support.
Please join us in reaching as many troubled, hurting children in our community as possible in the coming year.Let's give them something to smile about!
