Why is Windwood special to you?

“Windwood is special to me because I feel that God put it in my heart to work with this special group of boys, who actually teach me more than I ever thought possible. They warm my heart with how resilient and sweet they can be, and I just feel grateful to have a small part in their lives. If I can be any sort of positive light during their time at Windwood, that is my ultimate goal.”

What do you hope to see Windwood accomplish in the next 35 years?
“It’s so bittersweet when a resident leaves that you build a relationship with. I would love for there to be another program to get updates on how the boys are doing in their new homes once they leave Windwood.”
