Multiple Ways to Donate Items

Boys come to us reliant on Windwood for help in all areas of life. There is always a shirt, a book, or a game that could meet a need. We encourage you to shop our Amazon Wish List to easily send us our most-needed items.

Have an item in your hands you’d love to give us and our boys? We’d be delighted to use it! We have a few rules, though, so you’ll need to contact us prior to dropping them off.

Amazon Wish List

Each month, we gather a list of needed items from our therapists, administrative staff, and community-based caseworkers to include on our Amazon Wish List. The list includes items needed for the boys, like clothing, shoes, games, scrapbook supplies, snacks, office and school supplies, household items, sporting equipment, gardening supplies, and more.

Amazon does a great job of protecting buyers’ identities, so please be sure to leave your contact information in the gift note when purchasing items so that we can thank you!

Most Needed Items

Each month, we send out our most needed items list in our newsletter. Items marked * can be purchased directly from our Amazon Wish List. If you make a purchase outside of Amazon from the Most Needed Items list, please email our Volunteer Coordinator to schedule pick up or drop off.

Donation Drop Off

Please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator by email or 843-509-2230 prior to dropping off any donations. Our staff will confirm if items are needed and appropriate for our residential or family services programs.

Unfortunately, there are some items we cannot accept, including used legos, toys with metal pieces, Nerf guns, and used shoes, among other things. For this reason, we ask that you please contact us prior to dropping off donations so that we can ensure items are appropriate. Thank you for your support!

“They warm my heart with how resilient and sweet they can be, and I just feel grateful to have a small part in their lives. If I can be any sort of positive light during their time at Windwood, that is my ultimate goal.”
Ashley S., Windwood Volunteer
